Abstract

The tourist cities apply technologies to strengthen and facilitate the communication of the tourists with the sporting, cultural, scientific and other aspects of a city. Smart tourism is the innovation and the adoption of information and communication technologies in tourism. The Smart white cane gives smart tourism to Blind people. The smart white cane is a white cane for blind people supplemented with Electronic Travel Aids, Electronic Orientation Aids, and Position Locator Devices. This paper proposes a smart white cane for visually impaired people for hearing recreation in tourist environments (smart tourist white cane or Smart White Cane for Smart Tourism).
