Abstract

The use of electric vehicles (cars, motorcycles, scooters, trucks, buses) in the cities is an essential component so that cities can be considered smart cities. In this paper, we propose a mathematical model for the Electric School Bus Routing Problem which aims to minimise costs and optimise transportation times and cost of the students. We propose a Genetic Algorithm with a pre-Selection Operator, Tournament Selection Operator, Crossover-K Operator, and Mutation-S Operator to solve the Electric School Bus Routing Problem (SBRP).
