Publishing Institution
The International Journal of Combinatorial Optimization Problems and Informatics (IJCOPI) is published by Editorial Académica Dragón Azteca, S. de R.L. de C.V., a legally established Mexican publishing entity dedicated to the management, dissemination, preservation, and open-access publication of scholarly research.
Editorial Académica Dragón Azteca provides the journal with publishing infrastructure, digital hosting, editorial management support, DOI registration, preservation services, and technical administration of the journal platform.
The scientific and editorial governance of IJCOPI is independent from the publisher’s administrative functions. Editorial decisions are made exclusively by the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, and Editorial Board, all of whom are researchers affiliated with recognised academic and research institutions.
The publisher does not intervene in peer review, reviewer selection, acceptance or rejection decisions, scientific evaluation, citation practices, or editorial judgement. Manuscripts are evaluated according to scholarly merit, originality, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.
IJCOPI is managed by an international editorial team composed of researchers from recognised academic institutions. The Editorial Board is responsible for maintaining the journal’s academic quality, peer-review integrity, ethical standards, and disciplinary relevance.
Editorial Académica Dragón Azteca is registered in the Registro Nacional de Instituciones y Empresas Científicas y Tecnológicas (RENIECYT), which supports its participation in Mexico’s scientific and technological ecosystem. This registration is presented as institutional information and does not replace the journal’s independent academic governance.
IJCOPI follows international standards in scholarly publishing, including peer review, editorial transparency, research integrity, open-access dissemination, digital preservation, and responsible metadata management.
Editorial Independence
IJCOPI operates under the principle of editorial independence.
The publisher is responsible for technical, administrative, and publishing infrastructure support. The academic direction of the journal is the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, and Editorial Board.
No commercial, institutional, personal, or financial interest may influence the peer-review process, editorial decisions, acceptance or rejection of manuscripts, publication order, or scientific content.
All manuscripts are processed according to the journal’s peer-review policy, publication ethics policy, conflict-of-interest policy, and author guidelines.
Academic Governance
The academic governance of IJCOPI is exercised by its Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, Editorial Board, and Scientific Committee.
Members of the editorial bodies are selected on the basis of their academic qualifications, research trajectory, disciplinary expertise, institutional affiliation, and contribution to the fields of combinatorial optimisation, informatics, computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, and related areas.
The journal periodically reviews the composition of its editorial bodies to ensure disciplinary relevance, institutional diversity, international participation, and independence from the publishing entity.
