Since the beginning of the 21st century, it has been found that men are paid more than women in the same job position, without this depending on their productivity or work skills. The objective of this paper is to analyze the gender wage gap in the state of Hidalgo, after the COVID-19 pandemic, through the statistical indicators provided by INEGI in the National Occupation and Employment Survey (ENOE) during the period from the first quarter of 2021 (2021.01) to the fourth quarter of 2023 (2023.04), using the Oaxaca-Blinder methodology.
