Abstract

This article analyzes the use and integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the teaching practices of the Technological Institute of Pachuca. In recent times, Technological Higher Education has rapidly incorporated AI, significantly impacting knowledge management by implementing new dynamics in teaching and learning. It is a fact that the use of AI expands the possibilities for improvement, including the automation of tasks that significantly support academic processes. However, factors such as the context in which teaching practice takes place, organizational factors, and undoubtedly individual factors prevail in teaching activities. The adoption of AI, and especially the willingness of professors, demonstrates its positive influence on professional practice.

The foundations of this paper are based on contemporary models of technological adoption and educational innovation through the inclusion of technology. Digital competencies in teachers represent more than simply adding new technological resources; they should ideally represent an opportunity to sustain the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence at the Technological Institute of Pachuca, strengthening institutional capacities and fostering a flexible and innovative educational model.

The findings of this research will contribute significantly to the redesign of strategies that the institution should implement in the guidance for teacher training, technological governance, in which work is done on the development of policies that favor the critical, ethical and sustainable adoption of Generative AI, which contributes to the consolidation of the Technological Institute by favoring Innovation and the transformative potential of technologies.
