Smart Cities facing the growth of poverty

Abstract

An intelligent city or Smart City is an interconnected expression that applies new technologies to create solutions that allow the intelligent development of the country's strategic areas towards a better quality of life. Smart cities have applied different ways to maintain the quality of life of citizens, being the case, for example, of the health crisis caused by the pandemic of COVID-19, which has shown that it is required to accelerate the development of cities around the world, so this type of cities present an urban model, based on health care, the generation of green spaces, ecotechnology, integrated mobility, intelligent generation of employment, clean energy, among others, allowing transparency in the processes that move away from acts of corruption in governmental bases.
