Effective 1 January 2026, the Academic Sustainability Donation for Scientific Advancement will become mandatory. All manuscripts submitted on or after this date must include an editorial contribution of USD 50 to support editorial operations and open-access publishing, thereby ensuring the continuity and unrestricted accessibility of high-quality scientific research.

Academic Sustainability Donation for Scientific Advancement

The Academic Sustainability Contribution for Scientific Advancement is a payment designed to support editorial activities and the dissemination of knowledge within the academic community. Its purpose is to ensure the continuity and accessibility of high-quality scientific publications, fostering research and the exchange of ideas within the global scientific community.

This contribution plays a vital role in strengthening the infrastructure required for the publication of academic works, enabling the development of scientific knowledge, and facilitating access to research findings across diverse disciplines. By contributing, you directly support the advancement of science and ensure that valuable research remains accessible to scholars and practitioners worldwide.

Your contribution specifically covers four key benefits:
1. Permanent identifiers: Crossref membership and DOI registration for every article, guaranteeing persistent citable links.
2. Open-access infrastructure: Secure hosting, software maintenance, and certificates that keep the journal online without paywalls.
3. Long-term preservation: Redundant backups and archiving services that safeguard content for future generations.
4. Quality assurance: Plagiarism detection and editorial tools that uphold the integrity and reliability of published research.

We appreciate that the Academic Sustainability Contribution for Scientific Advancement may not be covered by all funding bodies. Accordingly, a limited waiver scheme is available: authors who lack institutional support may apply for a partial or full waiver of the contribution under the journal’s waiver policy.
